The Peeters group has been organising the Bioinspired Materials conference since 2017. In 2020, the event will be organised with collaborator Dr Timothy Douglas from the University of Lancaster. This one day symposium, with around 60 participants, will be a joint UK-Russia workshop with researchers working in the field of tissue engineering, antimicrobials, materials science, and microbiology. Bursaries will be available for ECRs to attend the event, which is hosted by Lancaster University.
